By downloading and using the Lloret by Local app ("the app"), you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

3. What the app offers
The app is a personal travel guide to Lloret de Mar, curated by a local. It contains:
- Free plans available to anyone with an account.
- Premium plans sold individually (€1.99 – €9.99), processed by Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Map, photos, descriptions and recommendations about places and activities in Lloret de Mar.
- Review system for users who have completed a plan.
4. User accounts
- To leave reviews or save plans, you need to create an account with email + password or Sign in with Apple.
- You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password.
- You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → My account → Delete account).
5. Premium plan purchases
5.1 Payments
- Purchases are processed via the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- The price of each plan is shown before purchase. Prices include VAT where applicable.
- Apple/Google charge the transaction and issue a receipt.
5.2 What a purchase includes
Buying a premium plan gives you permanent access to:
- Full step-by-step itinerary
- Photos and tips from the local
- Offline availability on your device
We do not include reservations, tickets or any third-party service. If a plan mentions a restaurant or activity, you must book directly with the business.
5.3 Right of withdrawal and refunds
Per art. 103.m of the Spanish Consumer Protection Act, digital content delivered immediately is excluded from the 14-day withdrawal right once you have accessed the content.
Refund policies:
We cannot directly refund any purchase; you must contact the platform where the purchase was made.
5.4 If a premium plan does not work
Contact us at hola@lloretbylocal.com and we'll look into it. If there's an actual error on our side, we'll help you process the refund or give you access to an equivalent plan.
6. App content
6.1 Intellectual property
- All texts, photos, designs, logos and content in the app are owned by

- You may use the content for personal and private use as a tourist.
- Not allowed: copying the content, redistributing it, publishing on other websites/apps/social media without written permission, or commercial use.
6.2 Comments and reviews
When you publish a review:
- You retain ownership of what you write.
- You grant us a non-exclusive license to display it inside the app.
- You commit that the content is yours, accurate and does not offend anyone.
- We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these rules.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the app for:
- Illegal activities
- Publishing offensive, racist, sexually inappropriate content or content that infringes third-party rights
- Reverse-engineering or attempting to access non-public parts
- Creating fake or multiple accounts to evade restrictions
If we detect abuse, we may suspend or delete the account without notice.
8. Limitation of liability
- Recommendations are personal opinions of the local who curates the content. Use common sense in person.
- We are not responsible for the quality of external services (restaurants, transport, etc.) we mention.
- The app is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it running but do not guarantee total absence of errors.
- In case of an error on our side that causes you direct damage, our liability is limited to the amount of purchases made in the last 12 months.
9. Privacy
The processing of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you in the app if there are important changes. Continued use of the app after changes implies acceptance.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
- These terms are governed by Spanish law.
- For any dispute, the competent courts are those of Lloret de Mar / Girona, without prejudice to the rights you may have as a consumer in your habitual jurisdiction.
- If you are an EU consumer, you can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
